My friend, Rick Benegbi, flew out to LA for a visit last week. I picked him up at LAX and we bi-passed LA all together and blazed out to the desert for some camping, rock scrambling, general shenanigans, moonlight photography and adventure seeking.
Above is a series of my first attempt at long exposures. I left in the light mistakes during these 30 second exposures just for fun.
The campsite at Hidden Valley in Joshua Tree (no ranch found). The Fuji X100 (always in black and white mode) was my camera campanion for most of the trip. Notice I got stuck in the muck at the Salton Sea.
